Responsibilities:

• Working closely with merchandising and production to ensure product is designed/developed to achieve quality and cost, while adhering to our calendar milestones
• Responsible for assisting design lead in creating seasonal concept boards, sketching, presentation set up, detailing of prototypes, communication with merchandising, product development and production colleagues 
• Maintain and update the sketch filing system
• Responsible for prototype corrections and correcting ornaments
• Responsible for creating prototype techpacks and ornament techpacks
• Overseas travel to conduct technical corrections to last and constructions from first prototype to pre-production fit samples
• Keen awareness of fashion, footwear and handbags market trends
• Well versed in product development for the brand

 Prerequisite:

• 2+ years of related Ladies footwear / handbags experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Design (footwear / handbags preferred)
• Illustrator and Photoshop proficient
• Great hand sketching style, accurate and clean
• Experience in leather and synthetic footwear / handbags
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Superior organizational and communication skills, and a team-oriented character
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
• Knowledge of the marketplace and competitors and a keen awareness of fashion, footwear and handbags market trends
• Frequent travels to China and daily communication with factories as required
