Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting suppliers’ pre-production meetings, in-line and final inspection according to the company’s quality control requirements
• Provide technical recommendation to factories on workmanship issues
• Prepare inspection report within the designated timeline
• Responsible for working closely with suppliers and our merchandising teams in providing technical and quality assurance assistance to ensure that all samples are produced and submitted for approval in timely manner and of high quality
• Work and communicate with European buyers, fit technicians and/or merchandising teams independently as well as with the suppliers

 Requirements:

• Tertiary educational background with off shore experience
• Minimum 10 years’ or above relevant technical experience in both Sweater and Circular Knit items which covers a wide range of items including sweat shirts, sweater, cardigan, fine knit pullover, T-shirts, polo shirts, etc.
• Strong knowledge of fabric, fitting, paper pattern, sewing, size specification, pattern modification and garment construction for bulk production
• Responsible for working closely with suppliers and our merchandising teams in providing technical and quality assurance assistance to ensure that all samples are produced and submitted for approval in timely manner and good quality
• Able to work and communicate with European buyers, fit technicians and/or merchandising teams independently as well as with the suppliers
• Occasionally required to participate in suppliers’ pre-production meetings, carry out in-line and final inspection according to the company’s quality control requirements, and to prepare inspection report within the designated timeline
• In-depth technical knowledge in raw material & garment production is a must
• Good communication skill & good command of written & spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin
• Frequent travel to China and other Asian Countries is required
