RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the R&D manager on the development of the new Gold jewelry collections
• Source suppliers for finished products and components;
• Monitor quality and manage vendors to make sure supplies are in accordance to the requirements
• Selection of styles for new collection, visiting factories and attending exhibitions and fairs
• Ensure the Gold Jewelry materials meet the relevant statutory and/or users’ requirements and manage all matters relating to the material specification, standards, testing and validation
• Work with R&D Manager on New Product Development to match marketing requirements including quotations, samples and orders follow up
• Assist in the development of a suitable suppliers development strategy and roadmap
• Report to Jewelry Dept. Manager in Hong Kong

QUALIFICATIONS :

• F.7 or above
• With 3 years’ experience in Jewelry, development and purchasing
• Experience in diamonds, pearls, semi-precious stones is welcome
• Organized, systematic oriented and efficient, with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent team work spirit
• Ability to pay attention to details and caution to accuracy
• Project management skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Familiar in using of MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP system will be considered as an advantage
• Travel to factories in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou is required
