Responsibilities:

• Responsible for product sourcing, development and evaluation
• Manage quotations, price analysis  and price negotiations between buyer and supplier
• Conduct factory inspections and ensure a smooth order process and pro-actively identify/ resolve operational issues as and when they arise
• Conduct market research and share findings with the team
• Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure product quality, costing, production and delivery issues
• Prepare and lead buying and sourcing trips
• Communicate and work closely with buyers, and counterparts to help provide adequate services to the end buyers
• Monitor and evaluate suppliers' and manufacturers' performance

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing Business Administration / Purchasing & Supply or related disciplines
• Min. 5 years relevant working experience in related merchandising field, preferably from sourcing/buying offices,
• Experience in handling USA/German/European market will be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and time management skill
• Well-organized, self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently
• Self-motivated, independent and a strong sense of responsibility
• Good command of English/Mandarin and proficient in MS office
• Immediately available or short notice is highly preferable
