Job Description
Are you interested in working for a luxury retail firm located in Hong Kong? Are you passionate about customer behaviours and their deep motivations?
My client is looking for a data science/customer insights assistant manager to join their collaborative Hong Kong team to drive strategic thinking and to help connect the physical and digital experience of the customer.
Role:
- Collaborate and align the business focus, strategy and priorities to maximise influence and impact in the organisation
- Develop the fields of Customer Insights within the business
- Help drive decision making by ensuring data and insights are actionable to drive decisions across all customer perspectives
- Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Develop models using statistics/machine learning techniques
- Help in establishing data management and integration from various data sources
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Define the scope of Data science and insights to understand customer behaviours
- Help manage a team of data scientists
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in customer analytics/data science/data analytics
- Candidates with a background in retail, banking, telecommunications desirable
- Experience with one or more tools including SQL, Python, R, Tableau
- Experience with statistical modelling, customer journeys and machine learning
- Friendly, collaborative team player
- English is a must and Cantonese is desirable
