Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement effective trade promotion and familiarisation programmes to ensure overseas travel trade participants are well-equipped to promote Hong Kong
- Obtain and analyse feedback on trade promotions and familiarisation programmes, assess effectiveness and recommend improvements for future activities
- Conduct regular visits to Hong Kong travel trade partners to provide them with up-to-date information on HKTB promotional activities, offer assistance in facilitating their promotional efforts, and collect market intelligence
- Provide planning and co-ordination support in the execution of marketing programmes in Hong Kong & overseas, to build business and communication platform for the Hong Kong trade and partnering national tourism organizations to strengthen trade partnership
- Support in planning, organisation and execution on ad hoc marketing activities as assigned by supervisor. E.g. co-ordination of delegation visit from the Greater China region, gathering in-house resources for marketing materials compilation and desk research for business planning
- Manage an effective communication process between HO departments and overseas offices to ensure all communication deliverables comply the brand guidelines and follow the co-operate procurement and accounting policy
- Undertake any other ad hoc assignments as directed by the supervisors.
Requirements
- University graduate with at least 4 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the travel trade and /or tourism related field
- High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills and analytical skills, able to work independently
- Good report writing and verbal presentation skills
- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
