Job Objective & Scope:

The successful candidate will work closely with Assistant Event Manger to develop and manage wide range of professional conferences covering the latest trends in the industry at Global Sources trade shows.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Research on industry hot topics and keep up to date with industry trends to help in developing attractive conference programs.
• Assist in identifying and inviting appropriate conference speakers.
• Provide friendly support service for speakers pre-show, onsite and post-show, to maintain good relationships with speakers.
• Collect and consolidate all required materials from speakers for preparing conference promotion.
• Prepare content for marketing promotion, website update, and conference flyers etc.
• Prepare and coordinate for the conference onsite venue decoration and onsite promotion materials.
• Manage conference attendees’ database.
• Assist in on-site management, logistic co-ordination, and support for other on-site special activities if needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Communications or related discipline.
• At least 2 years solid experience in B2B event marketing (relevant experience in conference & trade show is preferred)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Detail-minded, well-organized, strong proof reading and good analytical skills.
• Mature, pro-active, able to work independently with positive attitude.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.
