Global integrated marketing agency seeks ambitious ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

The Account Director will be a key player supporting the Head of Client Services to drive the agency business across client relationship building, content strategy, project oversight and business development.

Native in all things digital, the Account Director will also play lead strategist, as a senior advisor to clients across digital and social media projects, while building and managing a cross-discipline team to carry out strategy development across social media and broader digital projects.     

Responsibilities

• Champion the growth of the agency’s portfolio
• Provide strategic marketing and digital counsel to clients and development teams
• Build, nurture and grow a formidable team of strategic consultants to carry out the agency promise
• Partner with other functional leads, to deliver the highest-caliber marketing solutions
• Support the executive leads, owning the success of the agency and delivering results 
• Motivate teams to stay abreast of trends, competitor activities and best practices, providing new insights that improve clients’ marketing efforts
• Ongoing learning and development of digital skills and expertise

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of solid client servicing and consulting experience in digital marketing
• Proven ability to counsel in digital and social media strategy with a track record for delivering effective campaigns
• Demonstrated business acumen with experience in leading teams
• Results-driven, with a passion for storytelling and keen interest in social media
• A quick learner who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Absolutely detail-oriented and efficient, with proven effectiveness in project management
• Impeccable presentation skills as well as a fantastic communicator and team player
• A responsible and professional work ethic, with a personable and light-hearted attitude
• Must be bilingual in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin is an advantage)
