Responsibilities:

• Design artwork for promotional material including leaflets, brochures, forms, flyers, EDMs and newsletters
• Resize and update existing materials for current projects
• Use an initial concept idea to develop design material for many theatre productions per year to be used for marketing as well as design of show programmes and other theatre related design requirements
• To aid in a range of design ideas and concepts to suit different creative and project-based needs
• Liaise with printing companies to ensure high quality printed output
• Implement projects from concept to output
• Assist in ensuring brand consistency and professional, high quality output that reflects the company’s high standards
• Assist the Senior Graphic Designer in all design related projects

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in graphic design or equivalent with at least 2 - 3 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in major design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (Other Adobe and Design software’s a plus)
• Ability to work under pressure, within time constraints and to communicate clearly and positively
• Talent in using colour, layout, photos and graphics to get the best results
• Ability to work under direction, as well as freedom to initiate own ideas
• Creative thinker with a passion for design and all things creative
• Self-motivated, detail-orientated and able to work on multiple tasks under tight timelines
• Excellent spoken and written English. Chinese an advantage but not a requirement.
• Ability to follow closely a design brief, as well as contribute own ideas and design
• Web design skills an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and ability to take the initiative and work as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and feedback precisely working within the boundaries of brand guidelines and printing limitations
• Experience in educational and/or entertainment/theatrical industry an advantage
