Job Description

Presented by The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (“HKADC”), the JOCKEY CLUB New Arts Power (JCNAP) is first-of-its-kind multi-genre mega showcase of Hong Kong artists whose works have earned so much acclaim abroad.  This local arts festival presents a wide range of programmes each year in order to bring arts into the community and reach out to different segments of people in Hong Kong. 

 

We are looking for Manager to execute the JCNAP. The manager will be responsible for:

  • Executing and monitoring the festival’s marketing, promotion and ticketing
  • Planning and execution of performances, educational and community events
  • Working closely with production house, public relation firm and advertising agencies in the production and proof reading of publicity collaterals, media planning and advertising
  • Managing and monitoring the daily maintenance of project website and other online marketing tools
  • Assisting in implementing audience survey, preparing periodic reports, liaising with different artists, arts groups and other stakeholders

 

Requirements:

  • University degree holder with minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in project or festival management preferably in the arts sector with excellent knowledge of advertising, media buying and e-marketing
  • Possession of performance arts production or visual arts/ media arts project coordination experience will be a strong advantage
  • Must be able to work independently and in a small team to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Possess excellent project management and inter-personal skills with good command of English, Chinese and Putonghua
  • Knowledge in graphic design application is also an advantage

 

Successful candidate will be offered a 3-year contract.  Salary offered will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
