For China business expansion, they are now looking for a Marketing Manager.

Job Description

Position: Marketing Manager

Report to: Marketing Director, APAC

Job Summary:

Design, propose and implement the organization’s marketing strategy in China, to support company’s objectives and beyond. Work with local and global stakeholders across functions to develop the tools, programs and processes required to drive market creation for powersports in China, resulting in strong retail growth of company products.

Responsibilities:

n  Develop China marketing and communications strategy in conjunction with China, APAC and global teams

•   Deliver annual marketing strategy in line with organizational objectives and targets
•   Set marketing KPI’s and monitor performance against the plan
•   Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the strategy, and that the team has the information and clarity required to deliver on KPIs
•   Focus on digital strategies designed to drive omni-channel retail and elevate the consumer experience across the region.

n  Support China Growth Strategy

•   Provide insights and resources to develop and execute growth strategy
•   Work collaboratively with Business Development team, and manage resources to ensure efficient and effective operation
•   Be ambassador for the growth strategy within team to drive positive change for the business

n  Budget management

§  Set the China marketing budget in conjunction with the APAC marketing team.

•   Track budget monthly, ensuring that target is met while the marketing needs of the organization are achieved
•   Support other regions within APAC as needed
•   Influence key stakeholders to ensure that China has the marketing budget needed for growth through business case analysis

n  People management

•   Set and monitor team KPIs
•   Engage in team and individual development plans to maintain staff effectiveness and motivation.
•   Ensure that team have role clarity, and revise roles and responsibilities in line with business requirements.
•   Share work across functions and regions to ensure that China marketing is providing and receiving the support required.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

•   Business degree, with a major in marketing or similar
•   5 years experience in a senior marketing role

§  3 + years experience in marketing management position

§  Extensive knowledge of the Chinese digital marketing ecosystem, with experience converting online to offline customer journey

§  Proven track record successfully implementing experiential and digitally driven strategies

•   Proven track record of successfully delivering results in a fast paced and high growth environment

§  Excellent computer skills: high level of Excel and Powerpoint mandatory

§  Fluent in Mandarin language – a must

•   Perfect spoken and written English – any other language is a plus
•   Experience working in a multinational organization with reporting lines across borders a plus

§  Experience in the powersports or automotive industry is a plus
