7-Eleven Public Relations & Social Media team is responsible for all-rounded communications and PR activities, as well as handling PR issues and enquiries. As a neighbourhood brand we are active in giving back to the community through different CSR activities and responsible for evaluating potential new initiatives and sharing feedback to business.

Being part of the Dairy Farm Group, the team works with Group Communication to maintain and facilitate internal and external communications.

The team is also responsible for consumer PR, to engage customers, media, internal stakeholders with customer engagements, media events & etc.

The Job

• Build and maintain good network and amicable relationship with the media
• Daily monitoring and responding to the news (such as print, electronic & social media)
• Identify and anticipate issues related to stakeholder, regulatory and policy which may impact the company and prepare for necessary response
• Draft press releases, organize media events, manage media interviews & shootings and handle media enquiries
• Organize corporate social responsibility program & volunteer activities, facilitate internal communications & manage sponsorships
• Work closely with internal & external parties on event management

The Person

• Degree holder with major in Communications, Language, PR & Marketing or equivalent
• 4-7 years’ experience in related fields, general journalistic or corporate communications will be definite advantages
• Experience in project or event management and well-established contact with media are preferred
• Experience in social media platforms management is beneficial
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• High proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
• A team player, creative, independent and with strong interpersonal skills
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior PR Executive
