Job description:

TransPerfect, a world leader in professional translation services, is looking for qualified Simplified Chinese (China) into English translators and proofreaders interested in long term freelance collaboration and willing to join our network of TLC certified linguists. We’re looking for candidates experienced in Life Sciences translations of Clinical Technical Materials, such as Investigator’s Brochures, Protocols, and Common Technical Documents for some of our international clients in the specified industry. We receive work of this specification on a regular basis.

Applicants must:

• Be a native speaker of English or have lived in an English-speaking country in a permanent basis;  
• Have a translation degree OR university degree and 2 years translation experience OR 5 years of translation experience when the degree is in a different area;
• Be willing to perform MT post-editing as well as conventional translation work. Experience with MT tools preferred.
• Produce documented proof of educational background  as well as translation experience in his/her area of expertise
