R&D Manager (pharmaceutical) (40K above)

Our Client is a well-known international Group who focus paramedical production; they are looking for potential candidate for the position of R& D manager

Responsibilities

• In charge of Process & Technology team in RD&TS (Research & Development and Technical Services) Department
• Establish, review and approve SOPs for lab / pilot scale equipment operations and ensures their strict implementation
• Manage and maintain all lab / pilot scale equipment in good operational condition, recommend new equipment / instrument URS according to company development strategy and participate FAT, SAT and Qualification in order to ensure proper functionality of those new equipment / instrument
• Develop Production Batch Record (PBR) for DoEs in product and process development and ensures their strict implementation
• Participate in technology transfer / scale up, engineering  / demonstration batches
• Ensure the appropriate processes are transferred to production department and appropriate validations / executions are done; provide technical support on trouble shootings
• Participate in the discussion and provide technical expertise in CMO / CRO vendor audit / approval
• Ensure effective induction and continual training are provided to departmental staff 

Requirements

• Innovative and sensitive to the market
• Degree/ higher Certificate in  Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 5+years of related working experience in GMP
• Good common in both Written and Spoken English and Mandarin
• Solid experience on pharmaceutical manufacturing process development and optimization
• Experience on Process Validation, Cleaning Validation, Technology Transfer is required
• Understanding on QbD, DoE and demonstration of experience on trouble shooting is a plus
