HKMC is seeking a Senior Pharmacist to oversee the daily operation of our pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain effective and efficient out-patient pharmacy operations, clinical and aseptic services.
• Perform safety checks, monitor and administer treatments for chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy patients.
• Prepare, explain and assist in delivering chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy treatments to patients.
• Maintain close rapport with doctors, team members and patients.
• Plan, foster and deliver educational/training and development programs for pharmacy staff and other health care professionals.
• Liaise with pharmaceutical companies relating to drug procurement, updated information re new drugs and usage, drug/vaccine availability, etc.
• Provide periodic reports for management re consumption, inventory, costings, etc.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as required by management.

Requirements:

• B.Sc in Pharmacy awarded by institutions recognized by the Pharmacy & Poisons Board of Hong Kong with a valid practicing certificate;
• 5 years’ work experience in related field, supervisory role an asset
• Proficiency in oral and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Good communication skills, ability to manage a large team, and ability to motivate team members to deliver elite services
• Experience in oncology preferred
• Experience in the private field would be a bonus
