About The Role

Our client is a multinational company that specialises in the design, development and marketing of hardline products. An opportunity to work for a global orgnanisation on their markets across the globe.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic sourcing plan
• Perform benchmarking, cost analysis and pricing negotiation
• Conduct supplier analysis, evaluate potential suppliers, and manage the overall supplier qualification process
• Build and maintain business relationships with sales teams in the group to promote products and identify gaps and issues throughout the process
• Handle procurement duties for each project, from negotiating terms with suppliers, monitor the qualities & delivery of materials/products/services

Job Requirements & Skills

• Degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management or a related discipline
• Possess minimum 10 years working experience with at least 4 years in a management role
• Strong business acumen and cost analytical skills
• Good inter-personal skills to maintain good relationship with local & overseas suppliers
• Good analytical problem solving, communications and negotiation skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Business travel to overseas and China is required
