The incumbent is responsible for placing orders, collecting information and materials, communicating with oversea suppliers, coordinating and conducting inspection.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the order placement and arrange all the related materials and samples;
• Monitor the order closely and ensure the deliveries on time;
• Work closely with Japan Headquarter, Vendors overseas, and Logistics;
• Negotiate price and conditions with Vendors;
• Handle all the related cost analysis;
• Keep the information updated in the follow up system and handle merchandising related documents.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration/Logistics or related disciplines;
• 2 years or above solid experience in the area of fashionmerchandising; Experience as a Garments Merchandiser is preferable;
• Excellent in spoken and written Japanese (Japanese Language Proficiency Level Test N2 or above)
• Good command of spoken and written English, and Mandarin;
• Previous exposure in reputable chain-store operations will be advantageous;
• Good product sense & well-organized;
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills;
• Be numerate, self-motivated as well as customer focus mindset; and
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel;
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for the post of Senior Buyer.
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
