The Job

• Prepare monthly financial reporting, cash flows and budgeting /forecasting
• Provide financial analysis on projects as assigned
• Advise on business plans for special projects
• Work jointly with the Country Managers to provide data to assist meeting the financial targets, to monitor all business activity, to work with the aforementioned to develop contingency plan
• Prepare the Country financial analysis including explanations on variances to budget and to develop plans for any necessary turnaround activity
• Work with lawyers for the review and/or preparation of legal documents to ensure these documents are in proper order with execution
• Work with internal and external auditors
• Ensure the finance activities comply with the highest standards of accuracy, validity and ethics and ensure adherence to the Intertek Accounting Policies

The Person

• Qualified accountant with post qualification experience
• 5+ years in elevated financial role within a global organization
• Must be able to priorities projects and/or business needs based on regional and global requirements and objectives
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese  verbally and in writing documents
• PC/IT literate: Microsoft tools, Cognos reporting system
