CLP Engineering Limited is a 100% subsidiary of CLP Group with a business scope mainly covering engineering services to large customers in Hong Kong and is now emerging as an energy services company offering a wider gamut of services in Hong Kong to take advantage of the opportunities for energy related services and innovation in HK outside of the Scheme of Control.

We are looking for a financial professional to join CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Accounting Officer, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensure timely projects billing and settlement of the accounts receivable
• Carry out period end closing activities, including accruals, adjustments, reports preparation, etc.
• Perform periodic monitoring and reporting on budget variances with actual for projects as well as miscellaneous analysis
• Compile the capital/ operating expenditure budgets and ensure they are timely prepared and updated
• Provide necessary financial information for tax filing and reporting to other regulatory bodies
• Participate in system development and process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc assignments

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, preferably a member of a recognized accountancy body
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
• A good team player, fast learner, proactive, independent, hardworking, and able to work under pressure in meeting tight timelines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications; experiences in using SAP would be an added advantage
• Proficient in both spoken and written English & Chinese
