Responsibilities:

• Autonomous financial accounting role covering Hong Kong and Macau
• Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with Accounting Policies & Procedures, local rules and regulations and regions allocation methodology change
• Take ownership of accurate and timely month end closing, including preparation and posting of accrual & amortisation, expense allocation amongst cost centers
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, monitor reconciling items and take proper follow-up actions
• Process expenses payments and daily banking including cheque issue/ deposits, petty cash and bank reconciliations
• Manage end to end activities related to external audits, annual tax filing and liaising with company secretary
• Lead continuous improvement activities to standardise system and manual processes related to accounting and reporting
• Ad hoc projects as required by Finance leader.
• Build and maintain good relationship with key stakeholders.
• Supervise a team of 2 Accounting Clerks

We are looking for our next superstar with the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Accounting or Finance management;
• At least 5 years solid experiences in GL capacity, including tax knowledge. Experiences in a MNC is a plus;
• Holder of accounting certificate, Intermediate Accounting certificate is a plus;
• Good capacity in communication, coordination of different departments, headquarter and other related bureaus, able to work under pressure;
• Good command of oral and written English;
• Familiar with JDE is a plus.
