Position Overview

The "Accounting Officer/Assistant Accountant" will be a hands-on person and key player in our Finance team, taking care of the daily transactional processes and supporting the overall financial accounting function.

The ideal candidate is a motivated team-player who is eager to hone their all-round skills, and has the development potential for higher-level responsibilities incl. financial analysis and reporting, and will gain exposure and insight to the overall commercial aspects of the regional business operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Journal Entry, Bank reconciliation, Payment arrangement, Staff reimbursements
• Maintain bank accounts
• Coordinate LC applications for our regional offices
• Carry out daily transactional tasks incl. creating and inputting of vouchers, issuing cheques, etc.
• Assist with month-end financial closing
• Maintain proper finance records and database system
• Support the Finance Manager with full set of accounts and other ad hoc projects

 Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related discipline
• Ideally minimum 2 years relevant work experience
  
• Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, ideally experience with SAP system
• Precise, meticulous and analytical
• Excellent team player, eager to learn and grow
• Customer-oriented and good interpersonal skills
• Proactive and resourceful 
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
