The Assistant Accountant is an independent contributor role required someone with hands-on operations experience and high degree of collaboration with regional shared service team and local functional teams.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Hong Kong

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and correctness of bookkeeping, journal entry, and procedure compliance with US GAAP/HK GAAP
• Assist in full-set accounting operations for the HK office in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking functions, and staff expense reimbursement
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare consolidation report for management review
• Participate in stock take exercise and other ad-hoc assignments as necessary

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/University degree in accountancy or LCC
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with full set exposure is advantageous
• Self-motivated and detail-minded with positive working attitude
• Good interpersonal skill with teamwork spirit
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Good competency with MS applications
• Knowledge with Concur, SAP or other ERP system is advantageous
• Immediately available or candidate with short notice is preferred
