Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of credit to oversee the departmental operations
• Approve account opening, exposure limit of customers and real time exceptions on overtrading and settlement for all products including equities, derivatives, FX, exotic OTC options, structured products, commodities, bullion and mutual funds
• Formulate credit policy and procedures, customer acceptance policy, customer diligence process and procedures
• Monitor counterparty limit, market risk and concentration risk of the group
• Conduct fundamental analysis on listed companies and recommend margin grading to stocks
• Oversee Term Loan Administration and proposals
• Closely work with other relevant departments to deal with regulators and auditors on regulatory issues
• Build and maintain an effective credit team including the provision of assistance in supervision, coaching and mentoring

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, preferably in private bank, investment bank or brokerage house
• Sound knowledge of investment products including equities, derivatives, FX, exotics OTC, commodities, bullion and mutual fund
• Sound knowledge of the Securities and Futures Ordinance and relevant regulations
• Strong risk assessment ability and able to balance between risk and business
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills with network in the industry

*Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Vice President.
