I. KEY OBJECTIVES FOR THE ROLE工作目標 

The Bank Credit Analyst will be responsible for performing fundamental credit analysis for the financial sector. The analyst is expected to provide accurate and timely credit analysis and provide investment recommendations. The analyst will be in charge of developing the framework for bank analysis with the Head of Fixed Income Research and to assume coverage of the bank space. The goal is for the analyst to be the in-house expert in his or her area of coverage. The analyst is also expected to be collaborative and work as part of a team of research analysts and portfolio managers. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, be able to take on responsibilities and projects as needed and serve as a mentor for more junior team members.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES關鍵職責 

Perform fundamental credit analysis and relative valuations for bank credits.

Publish credit reports and provide investment recommendations.

Perform industry reviews and discuss sector outlook and strategy.

Monitor existing holdings and internal research databases.

Actively participate in roadshow/conferences/issuer meetings.

III. QUALIFICATIONS 所需資質 

Bachelor’s degree required, masters and/or CFA desirable.

5-10 years of proven experience in Bank Credit Analysis, either on the buy/sell side or rating agencies. Experience at an established institution are viewed favorably but not required.

Strong credit/financial analysis skills and solid understanding of bank capital structures as well as features of bank securities.

Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate investment recommendations both verbally and in writing.

Strong team player who is able to help with special projects/initiatives as needed.

Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.

Strong computer and data management skills.

Fluency in Mandarin preferred.
