RBWM Chief Operating Office – Credit Control Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Collections Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Lead a team of staff to manage delinquent accounts of the retail secured loan and SME loan portfolios
• Liaison with external law firms on all legal aspects relating to recovery actions against delinquent customers and monitor the progress of court proceedings
• Handle commercial vehicle and property repossession and disposal
• Assist in the process of supplier risk management related projects
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for management review
• Handle customer complaints and perform necessary investigation
• Liaise and communicate with counterparts in both internal and external to ensure coherence and convergence of action taken

Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
• Minimum 2 years' experience in debt recovery with exposure to commercial vehicle and property repossession and disposal procedures as an advantage
• Strong self-motivation, good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills
• Good knowledge of application software (Skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
• High integrity; knowledge in banking regulations and compliance
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
