Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Work on Hong Kong IPO matters, M&A and investment opportunities in reviewing transaction documents and providing sophisticated and practical risk-appropriate advice
2. Managing legal risk to make corporate transactions viable and safe and partnering with Risk, Compliance, Audit and others to provide a proactive integrated risk management approach.
3. Participate in draft business contract, procedures and business standardized documentation in the business and provide improvement advice for the Firm.
4. Liaise with external partner and regulatory bodies as appropriate and assist management with business negotiations and documentation requirement.
5. Develop and deliver appropriate training to staff and promote compliance awareness within the Company
Requirements:
1. Good experience in sizeable local law firm in the area of financing ,equity investment and M&A transactions
2. And/or in-house experience with an international financial institution covering financing, equity investment, M&A transactions
3. Solid drafting and communication skills
4. Strong communication skills in fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin)-spoken and written language skills
5. Self-motivated, highly independent with professional integrity
