Working Location: Kowloon Bay

This position oversees the provision of frontline finance support to Logistics in Hong Kong and South China, including working capital management, budgeting and budgetary control, management reporting and statutory compliance. The position is also responsible for monitoring the service delivery of our shared service center, ensuring compliance of Group’s financial policies, as well as acting as business partner to the Hong Kong and South China Logistics commercial and operations teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all aspects of financial accounting operation including budget, AR, AP and month-end closing for Hong Kong and South China
• Supervise and provide guidance to HK and South China accounting team
• Prepare financial schedules, analysis and reports for management use and/or group finance requirements
• Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Monitor the performance of our shared service center in the delivery of AP, disbursement, cashiering, cash management and collection services
• Review and approve contracts, purchase orders and invoices
• Provide business support to Logistics commercial and operations team in resolving business issues and evaluating projects and contracts
• Implement and maintain adequate internal controls for compliance
• Ensure the compliance with internal control, corporate policies and procedures
• Communicate and maintain good relationship with bankers, auditors and other professional parties
• Participate in ad-hoc assignments 

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
• 10 years’ experience in finance and accounting with at least 3 years’ experience in sizable company with international structure
• Strong knowledge in accounting standards and tax regulations in Hong Kong and China
• Mature, strong analytical & good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
• Experience in logistics industry could be an advantage
