Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To assist the Client Data Management Department with monitoring and maintaining the quality of the information being entered into the client and object database and generating reports from the database for other departments. They will handle internal email queries and respond to these in a timely and professional manner. Client Data Administrator will also assist with any larger client data related projects which the department are involved in.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

(Duties include but are not limited to the following)

 

  • Pro-active and on-going maintenance and data entry of the client and object database to ensure high quality of information about our clients is held by the business. This includes the entering of client data and the merging of duplicate information.
  • Daily monitoring, processing and updating of correspondence sent to the department email inbox, reporting request inbox and received by postal mail
  • Quality checking of newly created accounts on the client database and follow up for information where required
  • Inputting daily statistics which will be used to provide clear reports activity at the personal and department level
  • Generating reports from client and object database as well as reporting systems
  • Entering underbid information into JDE
    • (regional) Evening Sales – immediately after
    • (regional) Day Sales – by end of next business day unless directed by Manager or Head of BIDM
    • Underbid information sent to BIDM Inbox – ASAP regardless of region
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

 

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS or comparable preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required
  • Proven experience working with data required
  • Previous database experience preferred
  • Analytical mind with meticulous attention to detail
  • Passionate about data quality and accuracy of information
  • Written and spoken ability in Chinese an advantage
  • Numerate
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • High degree of organization with ability to work under pressure, multi-task, prioritize, and follow up promptly while working independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to reflect the image and standards of Christie’s in all situations
  • Willingness to accept assignments with positive attitude
