Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support depository and vault operations in accordance with established rules, procedures and policies of the clearing houses
• Provide operational support in overseeing depository operations, including ETF creation / redemption, Cross-border / CMU instruments transfers, stock reconciliation, stamp duty of non-trade transfer and securities transfer; shift duty may be required
• Review and update ETF agreements, operational procedures, regular / ad hoc statistical and analysis reports for manager’s review; identify exceptional cases and contingency situations and escalate to management
• Support and oversee user acceptance tests for projects and business initiatives
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and support duties as assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements:

• University Degree, preferably in Finance / Business Administration / Accountancy / Economics or related subject
• At least 3-4 years’ relevant working experience, of which at least 1 year at supervisory level, in well-established financial organization
• Knowledge of depository / nominees / custodial / ETF operations in Hong Kong and overseas
• Proactive, flexible, innovative, ability to multi-tasks; excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
• Conversant with MS Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint / Access / VBA
