Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- To undertake independent EHS compliance assessment. Review and update of EHS related regulatory requirements of APAC region and conduct compliance check for office environment.
- To support the team to implement the risk management strategies with focus on Incident Management, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management and delivery plans for projects in Hong Kong in transportation, public utility, Corporate Real Estate, Retail, Residences and Date Centers. Provide supports to risk management team on infrastructure projects as necessary
- To provide coaching and development to the service delivery teams on risk management to support delivery of high standard CAPEX and operational activities
- Undertake operational incident management reviews as and when an incident occurs, identify root causes and work with the incident management team to mitigate risks
- Conduct EHS compliance check against latest applicable related local regulatory requirement for APAC region
- Chair risk review meeting and facilitate risk workshop
- Conduct risk assessment, review method statement and risk assessment from Contractors/ Consultants
- Share lessons learnt and drive improvement in risk awareness within the team
- Support the team to provide crisis management, business continuity or risk management training to service delivery team and Contractors
- Support the team to prepare and deliver portfolio-wide deliverables and models e.g. Operational Risk Schedule, Operational Risk Exception Report etc
- Support the team to integrate risk into CAPEX and operational activities, and along supply chain
- Support the team to establish incident management framework and implement incident management process including incident investigation, root cause analysis, provide subject matter expertise as need for issue resolution, propose solution and review effectivities of corrective action plan developed
- Support the team to establish business continuity management framework and model at corporate level based on ISO 22301 and related international standards and leading practices, committee structure, procedures and Business Continuity Plan need analysis process and implementation. Organize crisis management drill or scenarios to test organization’s resiliency in business continuity management
- Work outside normal office hours for conference call or short trip travel within APAC countries as needed by the project
Person Specification / Qualification
- Recognized degree in Engineering, Building/Facility Management, Risk Management, Business Continuity or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in EHS compliance assessment, risk management, incident management, crisis management, business continuity management for large multi-national corporations, building construction, project management, facility management, railway or engineering projects
- Good understanding of risk management principles and well-versed with international standards and good practices in incident management, crisis management and business continuity management
- Experiences in review of method statements, risk assessment, implementation of risk management strategies and facilitation of risk workshops
- Successful track record in deploying risk management solutions in CAPEX and/or operational environments
- Experience in conducting Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) assessment or safety audit would be an advantage
- Experience in client interface with senior management, external stakeholders, contractors and end users
- Member of relevant Professional Association is preferred
- Fluent communication skills (both written and spoken) in Cantonese, English and Putonghua
