Job Description

We are also Arbortools and IASHK: Institute of Arboriculture Studies (HK).
Positions include:
- Consulting Arborists
- Tree Climbing Arborists
- Arborist Trainees
- Interns
Responsibilities:
- Consulting – tree risk assessment, tree survey/inventory
- Train arboriculture programs
- Use technical instruments for tree risk assessment including sonic tomography, Resistograph, Air Spade (training will be supplied)
- The position will require both field and office work, approximately 50% tree work (pruning, removals, etc…) and 50% consulting (tree risk assessment, tree survey, report writing)
- The ideal candidates would be someone who can work independently, learn quickly, is a team player, is task oriented, and open to a very unique working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Potential candidates may apply from anywhere in the world.
- ISA Certified Arborist Certification (or equivalent)
- ISA Certified Tree Worker Certification (a plus)
- TRAQ – Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (a plus)
- Higher certifications such as Board Certified Master Arborist, Municipal Specialist, and Registered Consulting Arborist (a plus)
- BsC in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, environmental science or a related field. (preferred)
- English speaking
- Well organized, multi-tasking, excellent communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook* Pay scale is contingent upon education, work experience, current certifications.
- All stated certifications, work experience, training experience, and education must be supported with documentary proof and references.
- Individuals not available for more than 6 months need not apply.
- Work schedule is usually a 5 day work week, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays when necessary. Working hours 8:30am-5:30pm. All Hong Kong public holidays are recognized.

Internship Opportunities
ATP is currently offering internship programs for new graduates in the Hong Kong region. Interns will gain valuable experience working with highly trained arborists in all aspects of arboriculture including consulting (Levels I-III tree risk assessment, tree survey, plant health care, sonic tomography, Resistograph, etc…) and tree works (tree pruning, removal, tree support systems, etc…).
