Responsibilities:

To assist the Engineer in tree risk assessment, tree management and greening works to prepare relevant records as instructed by the Engineer.

Requirements

• Diploma from an agriculture or forestry school/college, or in horticultural-related discipline from Hong Kong Polytechnic University/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education; or equivalent; and

• Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE, or equivalent; and

• Preferably obtained anyone certification as stated below:

  (a) Certified Arborist qualification of International Society of Arboriculture; or

  (b) Technician Member, Professional Member or Fellow of the Arboricultural Association of the UK; or

  (c) European Tree Technician of the European Arboricultural Council; or

  (d) General Member of the National Arborists Association of Australia or equivalent.

• Be conversant with computer software of word processing, GIS and spreadsheet database in both Chinese and English documents;

• Working at Cheung Sha Wan.

• Immediate available will be an advantage
