Game Engineer - Virtual Space Reconstruction

Responsibility:

• Develop software system and user interface for a cloud data exchange platform and parametric data driven 4D virtual space, including:
• Non-structural database e.g. MongoDB
• Data exchange system
• 3D game engine e.g. Unity or Unreal and,
• Streaming technology for data exchange and 3D visualization.
• Manage resources to deliver required results around cost, quality and time
• Interface with internal and external parties, and collaborate with other IM domains to drive business and technology innovation
• Code in various fit to purpose languages/framework any one of Java, .net, Node.js, AngularJS, ReactJS, python and etc. 

Requirements

• Technical degree holder with 3+ years software development or modelling experience. Experience with AWS is preferred.
• Experience of developing solutions and making decisions for a team with only minimal management guidance and supervision
• Knowledge of how to lever technology to reduce operational costs and delivery business innovation in a fast moving and dynamic industry sector
• Ability to evaluate solutions and carry out cost benefit analysis, balancing business needs, financial needs and development risk.
• Familiar with game engine e.g. Unity or Unreal etc.
• Experience with THREE.js, 3D modeling, BIM (building information modelling), and game streaming is preferred.
• Experience with construction industry is a plus
