Job Description
Our client is an apparel company and now looking for fashion Design Director (Station China) to support the rapid business expansion.
Key duties:
- Develop and manage seasonal collection in line with strategic brand directions and ensure the efficient design functions and support the business objectives and growth
- Understand brand image and market positioning of company products leading to marketable items development seasonally
- Carry out market trend study and survey, and identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry
- Ensure design team in an efficient and effective work manner by offering appropriate team coaching, teammates development opportunities and succession planning
Requirements
- Diplomas or above in Fashion Design or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in men's and ladies' casual wear design with at least 3 years on managerial position
- Strong garment technical background and knowledge of fabrications
- Creative with strong sense in fashion trends, especially in China market
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop etc design tools
- Station China
- Less experience will be considered as Design Manager
