My client is a leading billion dollar sourcing / supply chain / apparel company. They are currently going through a large digital transformation.

They are looking to hire a 3D Product Technology Lead to join their IT Team, the purpose of the role is to engage new 3D Apparel / Garment Technology for the firm, encourage the use of it and select and new relevant 3D Tech for the firm.

NEW Permanenent role - Up to 600k/annum + bonus/benefits

Role and Responsibilities

·       Market scan of various 2D/3D design technologies for consumer goods (apparel, accessories, hardgoods, rendering)

·       Leading and driving workflow automation projects, proof of concept projects

·       Evaluating new or existing technologies for benchmarking and product positioning

·       Identifying, creating and communicating best practices to use multiple 3D visualization technologies workflow process

·       Conduct full technology training for beginner and medium level users of 2D/3D technologies

·       Coordinate and work with 3D technology companies and manage the technology installation, access and stay updated on the latest version features

·       Work closely with the Digital Product Development IT Program Manager and Project manager on prioritizing business and IT needs and implementing the necessary technology assessment and implement as required

Requirements 

·       3 to 5 years of digital product creation for apparel & accessories in one or more technologies such as: Browzwear, CLO, V-Ray, 3D Max, Keyshot, etc.

·       Experience in workflow automation project is a high advantage (Python)

·       Knowledge and skills in digital material/ texture creation tech is a high advantage

·       Expertise in multiple and complex product categories is desirable (high fashion apparel, bags, footwear, store) is an advantage

·       Knowledge of PLM / DAM are plus

·       Energetic and fast learner and able to pick up business cases proactively and learn through self-study methods

·       Excellent team player and committed to working under pressure and tight timeline

·       Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude

·       Excellent command of spoken and written English (Mandarin speaker is a plus)
