Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for potential candidates for the position of Electronics Engineer / Developer in toy production to join our team in the development of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathmatics) related toys.

As a part of our development team, you will be responsible for owning and driving the development of projects with exposure throughout the process from initial conception through to manufacturing. You are a pro at all aspects of electronics design and engineering, can efficiently and effectively drive project timelines, can prioritize to balance and hit company quality and margin targets and work with other members of the team including product designers, educators and graphics producers.

• Ideation, brainstorming, and research of hands-on product concepts. 
• Prototyping and design iteration. 
• Product testing and analysis of user feedback. 
• Material sourcing and sampling. 

Job duties

• Perform schematic design and electronic PCBA (Digital, Embedded, Analog, SMPS) and MCU programming for new products
• Project follow-up experience for electronic toy from design to mass production
• Carry out technical specification drafting and verification
• Work with other members of the team on the development of non-electronic aspects of products
• Get hands-on and produce suitable prototypes

Requirements

• At least 3 years working experience in Electronics
  
• Familiar with electronic hardware circuitry design, PCBA layout and industry safety standards
• Knowledge of MCU programming preferred
• Creative, pro-active and independent
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin and excellent communication skills
• Immediate availability is preferred
