Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of all projects, products and processes in the APAC market
  • Manage customer and consumer complaints in the APAC market and support the company product and process optimization (PPO) process
  • Select, develop and manage all suppliers in the supply chain of the APAC market
  • Ensure a quality assured new product development process (PEP) that meets a flawless launch in all markets, especially in the APAC market
  • Develop and ensure a quality system, that meets or exceeds all customer, legal and internal requirements for the APAC market
  • Act as a quality responsible of new product development projects which products are produced and sold in the APAC market
  • Continuous quality improvement of products and processes by minimizing Cost of Non Quality in the APAC market
  • If applicable, work in close cooperation with the company’s manufacturing and Quality Control department to improve products and processes and to solve effectively problems

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related discipline
  • Training in Quality tools and methods, i.e. root cause analysis, strong problem solving skills, statistics, APQP, PPAP, Auditing, SixSigma, inspection experience, hygiene training.
  • At least 5 years of experiences in quality management in an industrial environment, preferable with experiences in electronics/ home appliances & devices.
  • Strong experiences with supplier selection, development and management.
  • Leadership of cross-functional product development and product and process improvement teams and be able to deal with all levels of hierarchy and different functions.
  • Technical background with sound knowledge and experience in economical topics.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. German preferred (Not a must)
