Responsibilities:

• Working with development team to deliver new products to market and provide sustaining support for those products
• Produce completed design packages including both electrical and mechanical design
• Design, prototype, and evaluate products and components for cost efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Sourcing, and Plant Engineering to ensure that all products meet internal and external requirements
• Adhere to drawing and version standards set by the New Product Development and plant engineering
• Organize and maintain engineering/design related records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial); or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in Lighting product design (DMX and exterior lighting)
• Must be detailed orientated as well as accurate
• Strong communication skills required for effective teamwork
