CLP Engineering is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CLP Holdings Limited. We undertake a variety of engineering work including energy services, facility management, power engineering and smart infrastructure. We are looking for energetic and innovative engineering professionals to join the Distributed Energy Department of CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointees will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare design submissions, tender proposals, project plans and correspondence with relevant parties for Renewable Energy system
• Lead an engineering team to carry out effective project management including site visit, feasibility studies, project execution, testing & commissioning and maintenance of solar PV system equipment
• Liaise with clients / suppliers / contractors on the tendering, contracts administration, variations vetting and payments
• Coordinate with various parties of projects / site works to plan, schedule and meet all contract programmes and requirements, and set up proper procedures and precautions to meet the Company's requirements and Corporate Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality (HSSEQ) Documents standards
• Supervise and monitor the performance of suppliers and subcontractors
• Review specifications for tendering, evaluating and selecting service contractors that meet technical specifications and engineering standards to achieve construction and operational targets
• Provide training and development for subordinates
• May be required to work outside normal working hours to handle site issues or perform site inspection when necessary
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• A recognized University degree in Electrical, Electronic, Building Services, Mechanical or other relevant engineering disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience
• Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts in English and Cantonese, verbally and written
• Customer-oriented, self-motivated, a good team player, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with CLP Power safety rules, engineering standards and codes of practice
• Possession of a valid Construction Industry Safety Card
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Project Engineer
