Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the General Manager, you are a key member of the organization. You will lead two teams of engineers, one in Hong Kong and one in China in their day to day duties. You are responsible for the overall equipment design to meet the specifications as defined by the customers from time to time and to see through all engineering issues till the successful commissioning and handover of the equipment.

 Job Descriptions:

• Be the interface between the Company and customers for all technical matters
• Liaise and co-ordinate between Sales & Marketing, Project and Production departments
• Perform hands-on development work and produce high quality 3D drawings for illustration purposes with customers and for fabrication & production purposes on our factory floor
• Provide advice and guidance to the junior team members and marketing colleagues on design feasibility in terms of technical, operational and financial risks during project development phase
• Monitor project costs to ensure projects are delivered within job allocated budget
• Assist in resolving engineering issues with customers
• Sourcing of new materials and technologies to improve production efficiencies
• Overseas travels are required

Accountabilities:

• Ensure the equipment will meet the national safety regulations in customers’ countries
• Ensure the equipment design is strictly adhered to the agreed specifications
• Ensure the design is cost-effective

 Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
• Must be familiar with Solidworks, MS Project and MS Office, knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage
• Knowledge of FMEA process is a plus
• 8 years of post-graduate experience with at least 5 years in supervisory role
• Fluent in English, both oral and written, and good command of Putonghua is an added advantage
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, good communication and interpersonal skills
