The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Head Office procedures in all bunkering & sludge related operations and giving advices to Head Office based on relevant information gathered locally to improve the procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform unannounced / announced “in-situ” controls by boarding at least 16 chartered and owned vessels per month;
• Check & report full compliance of all CMA CGM operational procedures for all bunkering, related matters, sludge discharges procedures and instructions given to third parties particularly independent surveyors mandated by CMA CGM;
• Measure & report all exact quantities of bunker products delivered or present at any time on board vessels;
• Act as the operational link between our fuel suppliers, vessel’s command and Head Office for the bunkering operations under your area of supervision;
• Handle bunker quantity dispute with the assistance of ARO Bunker team;
• Provide regular weekly nomination list of incoming vessels for bunkering and sludge operations;
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Shipping, Logistic Management, Business Administration or related discipline;
• At least 5 years of experience in maritime industry with bunker oil procurement / management experience;
• Preferably an ex-seaman with knowledge in Engineering and vessel operation experience;
• Responsible, self-driven and goal achieving;
• Good communication and analytical skills;
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
