Job Description
Our client is a leading global manufacturer and are currently looking for a General Manager – Facilities to oversee the management of a 120,000 sq ft design and engineering facility in Dongguan.
This role will be responsible for :
Running the day-to-day activities and be responsible for the overseeing the facility in Dongguan.
Oversee and ensure setup, installation and commissioning of facilities and equipment in the facility •
Plan and schedule maintenance regime for the facilities •
Ensure smooth operations and productivity of the facility • Play a significant role in day-to-day, including leading initiatives that improve operational excellence •
- Maintain effective communications with both internal and external parties to ensure high quality services delivery
- Monitor and manage outsourced contractors' performances on engineering, security, cleaning, landscape etc
- Assist in preparing and reviewing service contracts
- Participate at general administrative duties for facilities management operations
- Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by senior management
Personal Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Facility/Property Management/Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experiences in facilities management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) is a MUST
