Our client, newly established her office in HK, is currently seeking high caliber talents to join the sales & marketing team  to cope with new business development in HK & China.

Job Purpose:

  • To assist the Company to build and develop Sales & Marketing strategies in both HK & China markets
  • To explore and substantiate business development opportunities & market channel to import and export salmon from Norway to both HK & China markets with a view to achieving the Company’s growth & objectives

Education & Experience:

  • Preferably Tertiary educated, especially in business related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years’ hand-on experience in Salmon Sales & Marketing Industry.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To assist the company to build business connection and client’s network regarding salmon business in both HK & China markets.
  • To build and develop Sales & Marketing strategies in both HK & China markets
  • To explore and substantiate business development opportunities & market channel to import and export salmon from Norway to both HK & China markets
  • To liaise and report the client’s HK office on sales & marketing activities, sales forecast, actual monthly revenue, and business reports.
  • To prepare annual business plan in term of salmon marketing  export forecast activities to the both HK & China markets to the management.
  • To meet and achieve annual budgetary sales revenues in both HK & China markets.
  • To initiate sales & marketing campaigns in various trade fairs in both HK & China markets & to establish company branding and market image.
  • To document detailed sales & marketing strategies to align the client’s internal business processes for knowledge management & compliance.
  • To regularly build and cultivate business relationships with potential clients in both HK &China markets.
  • To further explore and develop potential market in South East Asia in the foreseeable future as required by the management and to be in line with the Company's marketing strategy.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good presentation & communication skills
  • Good people management skills
  • Negotiation & persuasion skills
  • Good understanding of brand strategies, product concepts, trends & forecasts.
  • Good knowledge in the salmon industry’s market trends in HK & China.
  • Hands-on experience in salmon exporting & trading strategy to the Industry and consumer market.
  • Experience in arranging shipping and handling of all salmon orders especially in HK & China
  • Good command of English & Chinese. Fair Mandarin is a plus.
  • Frequent travel to China is required.
