Job Responsibility:

• Design, develop, implement and support based on a microservices architecture design
• Develop services that auto-heal and auto-scale
• Responsible to define standards, architectures, and patterns to support in the development of microservices
• Define and promote API-based service consumption models
• Work and instruct other team members and stakeholders, and promote microservice-based services

Job Requirement:             

• Degree holder in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ year experience as a software developer, with more than 1 year production support exposure and writing auto-scaling, geographically diverse microservices
• Proven experience developing APIs for internal consumption and external developer communities
• Experience with NoSQL databases is preferred
• Experience with serverless (functional) programming is a plus.
• Experience developing microservices in multiple programming languages and on various cloud platforms.
• Knowledge in API development and SDLC management, test-driven development and automated testing, Ci-CD, packaging, containerization, and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge in containers, and sidecar and proxy service edges.
• Knowledge in with a number of the following tools: Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, Selenium, Ansible, Capistrano, Consul, Terraform, Pact, SOAP-UI, Junit, JIRA, Rally, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Cucumber, Honeycomb, Envoy, and others.

Good communication skills, able to work independently, self motivated

Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
