Job Description

We are looking for an IT professional to join HSITP.  Reporting to Senior Corporate Services Manager, the successful incumbent will work with business teams, outsourced IT support teams and vendors.   In a “one-man-team”, the ideal candidate should be a self-starter, able to drive IT deliverables and bring value-added IT solutions to support the business growth and enhance operational efficiency.  Major responsibilities are listed but not limited to below:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall IT operations & maintenance of HSITP;
  • Plan & execute IT project implementation cycle;
  • Provide on-going support (BAU) and manage existing IT infrastructure and application systems or managed service provider;
  • Manage IT solution procurement process, such as IT solution proposals evaluation and RFP, RFQ documents preparation;
  • Handle software licenses and liaise with external vendors for contracted warranty and repair demands;
  • Track and handle inventory life cycles of HSITP technical facilities & equipment;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience in IT infrastructure administration and maintenance; Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Engineer;
  • Prior experience with a start-up or a company in growth mode a plus;
  • Ability to track and prioritize technical issues and operate independently;
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and user parties in project environments;
  • Understanding of prevailing technologies including cloud applications, IT infrastructure and  security;
  • Strong at vendor management;
  • ITIL and PMP certifications would be an advantage;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
