IT AV System Engineer (at the rank of Senior IT Technician) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 493995) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, and preferably a Master’s degree, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Audio Visual (AV) System Engineering or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in the AV development or support field. They should be proficient in MS Office, AV Multimedia technologies such as microphone and speaker, LED wall, projector, digital signal processing, mixer, Meyer Sound Galaxy System, Cisco Telepresence Video Conferencing system, Reach recording system, as well as central control systems like Extron GVE, Crestron Fusion, Shure SystemOn, Myer Sound RMS, etc. A good understanding of IoT, High Availability Controller provision, and Palo Alto firewall system would be an advantage. Applicants should also be collaborative and team-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The appointee is expected to contribute to the design, development and administration of the AV system for the Faculty in supporting various teaching and learning activities, seminars, events at lecture theatres, meeting rooms, tutorial rooms, and classrooms, etc. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a test.
