One of my clients, a global financial institution, is currently looking to hire a Senior Manager to join their Technology Risk team of 8.
about the team.
The team is divded into 3 sub-team: 1st line, 2nd line & 3rd line. For this role, you will be managing 2-3 people for 1st line of defense.
about the job.
Working with the team, you will be focusing on development & implementation on technology risk management governance programmes align with Group Office Technology Risk strategic direction.
Daily duties include:
- Managing the design, implementation and communication of technology disaster recovery plans and processes to ensure the security, availability and integrity of company data, databases and information systems
- Developing and managing technical risk governance framework & risk portfolio
- Managing and coordinating cyber security assessments which includes vulnerability scanning, independent penetration test on IT infrastructure and applications
- Working with IT operation to monitor and report suspicious activities
- Managing and communicating with group offices, business partners, corporate clients, IT vendors and other external parties on IT security matters
skills & experiences required.
To be qualified for this role, you will need:
- University degree in Computer Scicence ot related discipline
- Min. 10 years of solid work experience in technology risk management from a sizable financial institution
- Min. 2 years of experience in supporting recovery strategy design and testing
- Certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP is preferred
- Solid experience in handling cyber security assessments against information security frameworks or standards
- Familiar with relevant technology control requirements from the main financial regulatory bodies
- Strong communication skills in English and one of the Chinese languages (Cantonese or Mandarin)
