Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop NGS pipeline to analyze human DNA data
- Provide biological insight from analyzing human DNA data using various Bioinformatics Tools and Databases
- Develop new Bioinformatics Tools for our new products and services
Requirements:
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Statistics, Physics/Biophysics. Non-PhD candidates with equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Developed at least one open source bioinformatics software or equivalent
- Knowledge of Python/Perl is required. R or C is desired but not required
- Knowledge of NGS pipeline dealing with Human DNA data is required
- Experience of working in Linux/UNIX environment is required
- Knowledge of Genetics is desired but not required
- Knowledge of NGS related lab methods is desired but not required
