Our Client, a leading Global bank in Hong Kong, is looking for an 'IT Manager/Snr.'  for their Bank as they are expanding operations. The location is ICC building, Kowloon

Job Purpose:  

•  Part of IT Strategy and Implementation team,working on important and critical high value Technology Projects for the bank.
• Responsible for overlooking IT and networking setup for the bank and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s & regulatory IT Security Policies/Guidelines.
• Responsible for driving forward new initiatives to enable more lines of business and to support existing banking applications.

 Job Responsibilities:  

• Be the one point of contact for business / operations teams for all existing HK   applications.
• Review security for the Bank in HK including hardening / maintenance / fire wall review.   Ensuring compliance with Audit Standards
• Handling various IT related Regulatory assessments, inspections & audits Scale up DR resources depending upon the growth in the number of applications used across HK.
• Co-ordinate and schedule BCP for all applications hosted for  HK with the different teams and various branches and also the application teams in India.
• Reduce on IT costs by evaluating and negotiating with other competitive vendors in HK for acquiring or managing hardware / telecom resources.
•  Plan and ensure implementation of IT application project in coordination with IT teams in India and Business stakeholders in HK. Ensure all projects meet deadline and are as per defined specifications
• Responsible for driving forward new initiatives to enable more lines of business.
• Liasing with business teams to understand requirements and design and implement solutions for these new requirements along with the vendor development teams. Involved in the complete life cycle of project viz design, testing and implementation phases.
• Managing and maintaining telcom links. Responsible for requisition of new telecommunication infrastructure to meet requirements of organization
• Overlook IT and networking setup for new branch installations.  
• Responsible for coordinating with internet banking teams of HK environment in line with HKMA policy.
