Job Description
Our client is seeking a high caliber to join their team as Database Administrator:
Responsibilities:
- Act as database expert for Oracle and SQLServer in Unix and Windows environments
- Responsible for planning, documentation, installation, administration, problem troubleshooting andsoftware upgrade
- Liaise with system teams for impact analysis and development work such as system upgrade, infrastructure change and monitor of database activities
- Responsible for support and implementation work such as database setup, schema changes, SQL performance analysis, etc.
- Provide production support and scheduled maintenance work
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in database administration, with hands-on experience in Oracle 11G/12C RAC architecture
- Experience in programming on Unix shell, Perl, PL/SQL and Powershell scripting
- Knowledge in SQLServer 2008 or above with Windows clustering
- Holder of OCP/OCM, MCDBA or experience in application development in ER diagram, Data Warehouses will be an advantage
